As you want. We need just a 8 players to start (as two groups). At this moment we have (probably) four or six players.

Game names, for example: Euro-Asia-Cup-Group-A (...) Group-B

And next:

  • Unlucky scenario: Assuming that one game will last 2 weeks max: 4 group matches will last a maximum of 2 months the whole tournament max 4 months! (I hope not, but it's possible)

  • Good scenario: If each game lasts 1 week or less, the whole tournament will last 1 or max 2 months.

That's why we need players who make a minimum of 5-10 moves per day (or more!)

Dear Gentlemen! 

Thanks for joining! Good choice! The rules are clear? If not - just ask. 

Probably everyone lives in Europe, so the games will be named: Euro-CUP-group-A (...and group B).

After start - zero pressure - please do your move when you want. I hope minimum 4-10 moves per day, But we have a timer: 3 days per player + 1 hr (because sometimes someone needs a day of break). Each game for a maximum two weeks , I hope.

Remember - it's just fun! On the other hand - I Tournament will be difficult, because 5 of 8 players have 'elo' around 300 or over 400 ! Damn! :)

Lucasrrr was the last to join, I don't know him well (we played 2 or 3 times 2 months ago) so I am asking him to complete the line-up of both groups. So lucasrrr, below is the result of my lottery, I am asking you to complete the composition to the groups (if you do not do it - tomorrow I will ask the next person about it). Please put four of players (with the highest elo) in groups (please post below) :

PodonokMax Babbuc49 Wy lucasrrr (these four players have the highest elo)

Two to group A and two to B:

I will send a link to the games here (using private messages). After the first game - one of the player in group will put new link to the second game there (using chat window)

Pyton will create and share on-line table (eng.) - thanks!

Please notice - mistakes happen! If someone (starting from the second game) mistakes the order, chooses the factions incorrectly, bids for more than 0 - don't worry! but in this case the group has to create a game-table again.

Ok, we wait for the list of both groups. After that I will create game-tables and send to all.

Congratulations & big thanks to all players of the Group A for 4 difficult games!

89 points between Bardopondo (the winner!) and Mecenas is not an enormous distance after four games, which shows how hard the fight was! There is only a 4 vp difference between PodonokMax (who won the most times in the group!) and Wy. This shows that our Tournament system is not ideal, but rules are rules.

Bardopondo and Wy are going to the final four games. Congratulations! Start in March.

I hope everyone will want to continue participating, but it's not mandatory. It's just a game! :)

Thanks and congratulations to all players in group B. Me and Pyton fought, but the team definitely had two leaders. Applause for Babbuc49 (718 VP!) and for the winner - Lucasrrr (759 VP!).

Hello guys! :) I hope the tournament will be finished by all! But, I see a problem with the start of the third (penultimate) game.

I have no direct contact to Mr. 'Wy'. I hope he is still interested in continuing. If not? it will be a huge pity!... But nothing is mandatory, it's just a game, not a wedding with a very ugly and bad person who can't cook well.

My suggestions in this case:

  • bardopondo please create a new (third) game (please check: seed, unlisted, auction etc . And put link in the last finished game with Wy. He should have the option to see this. Thank you

If Wy does not join in max 2-3 days (?) :

  • you guys should speak together and decide: what next. For example: if you want to finish it very quickly - you can create and play the last 3-player game, with your setting, rules. For symbolic end and the last points (to the table).

  • I can join the last two games (on the correct 'seed') instead of 'Wy', in this case the tournament will continue till the end. Defect of this solution is the fact that I'm very busy because of my job, so I can play badly and slowly (2-5 moves per day). I'm not a master player (the tournament showed it :) ) so you can also find someone stronger (who can help with continuing the last two games).

The Tournament is over! It was an amazing show for me! After 6 months of good fun (I hope) and hard competition (it's sure) I have to say:

Congratulations to all! Especially to the three masters: bardopondo, lucasrrr, Babbuc49

Some interesting facts ;) :: ::

bardopondo achieved the best result for factions in the group twice, for Taklons (163) and Terrans (182). He won the 'satellites' competition (16 satellites) as Ivits!

lucasrrr also achieved the highest result twice, for Itars (173) and Ivits (194)

In another game Babbuc49 won the 'satellites' competition as Taklons (21 satellites!)

In the qualifying groups:

Achieved the record points for factions in the group:

lucasrrr three times! (Geodens 185, Terrans 193 and as Taklons 210 ! - is the highest score in the entire tournament! Details: Taklon 44vp.jpg

:: Babbuc49 achieved the record points for Firaks 191, Terrans 193.

bardopondo for Itars 168, Gleens 144.

PodonokMax for Bal T'aks 156, Lantids 144, he also won 'satellites' competition as Lantids (17 satellites!)

Mecenas as Bal T'aks 156.

Wy didn't win a single game in his group, but with a very strong result of 572 VP he left the group and made it to the final. Unfortunately, he abandoned participation in the final after two games.

It took a month to complete players for the tournament. 8 people from 4 countries (Russia, Poland, Italy, the Netherlands) were playing. Players (who made it to the finals) played a total of 8 games. the tournament started on January 16 and ended on July 16.
