How games get added

The games players want on the site, most voted first. Games in beta stay listed until their public release. Requests for expansions or options of an existing game live on that game's page.

  • Lost Ruins of Arnak

  • Hansa Teutonica

Appeals to the same player type as the other games here, I think. And it's not on bga

  • 🛰️ Outpost

    In beta

Rival colonies vie to see who can develop the most efficiently. Build and staff factories to produce resources, then spend those resources on more factories, colonists, robots, and powerful colony upgrades. Upgrades are won through auctions, so every credit counts and timing is everything. Outpost is a 1991 economic auction game by James Hlavaty, reimplemented in 2011 as a 20th Anniversary edition by Stronghold Games.

  • Age of Renaissance

A game that is often described as a semi-sequel to Civilization. Players attempt to build up their cultures during the Middle Ages and Renaissance periods. The game features a card deck that holds events, payout cards, and famous leaders of the particular eras. Although all cards will turn up somewhere during the game, the timing and position in which they will be played is crucial and will ensure a different game every time. The main goal of each city-state is to gain points in the form of technical advances, while keeping their culture's misery level as low as possible. The payout structure is similar to those of Civilization and Advanced Civilization in that more resources of the same type yield increasingly higher payouts. This time particular payouts are triggered by card play for every player at once. An ingenious and very smooth working “combat” system is implemented to determine province – and thus resource - control. https://boardgamegeek.com/boardgame/26/age-of-renaissance

  • Roads and Boats

For the 20th anniversary of Roads & Boats, the game is being reprinted for the fifth time. This edition will include the &Cetera expansion, so the game can be played with up to six players and you will get all the additional modules of &Cetera included in the game. There are no other changes to the game. In Roads & Boats, each player builds a civilization over a long period of time, as in many other games. Unlike most games, however, the emphasis is not on warfare, population growth, city or statebuilding, but on logistics, or rather on transport. Each player starts the game with three donkeys, a pile of wooden boards, a number of stones, and two geese. With these few resources, you try to build such diverse things as woodcutters, roads, boats, mines, a stock exchange... but beware! There is no concept of territory in this game! You cannot own land, nor buildings, so the things you build can be used by any other player... The original game can be played by two to four players, but it can also be used as a one-person puzzle. &Cetera adds new buildings, new goods, new land types, new transporters, new ways to win, and new strategies. It also includes 24 new scenarios and material to play with five or six players. & Cetera contains all the rules and material previously published as Planes & Trains, plus a lot more. https://boardgamegeek.com/boardgame/276502/roads-and-boats-20th-anniversary-edition

I hate it when the computer Presses "Done" for me when I am not done. And then there is no undo feature to stop it.....Maybe charge "one hour" to undo or something. Or reduce the max by one hour.
