what's the difference with badges? By the way - check the badge album, the "grand victory" badge is ready to be claimed! (won an 8 player games)

maybe per-boardgame achievement lists? (built a biosphere, ...) then the badge album you can flip through the page, for each boardgame

and then the notifications (there will be many) should be on the badge album image

Achievements I'd say are more typically 1 time events, where badges are something that gradually improve over time. There's absolutely overlap.
